Man of Steel, Amazon Princess - redesigns

A soft redesign of Superman. I used elements from some of my favorite versions of the character, primarily his appearance in the Fleischer cartoons from the 40's and his debut in Action Comics #1. This is by far the hardest superhero to redesign, because his traditional costume is the template for all other superheroes. Drastic changes shouldn't really be made for such an iconic character, so I focused on bringing him back to his roots.

A mostly original take on Wonder Woman to go with my Superman. I say mostly original because she's really a patchwork of different elements from preexisting designs. I just used what I liked, tweaked what I didn't, and added a few ideas of my own. I'm still going to throw some stars on her outfit, but I haven't decided on the placement just yet.

Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston. Both are properties of DC Comics.
